"Boat will not plane. No power like it is in "limp" mode. Goes to 2500rpm and stays. Good compression, fuel and runs perfect standing still."

All readings fine. Will eventually plane if you move the the front of the boat. But then it won't exceed 3500rpm. What do you mean? "you are in limp mode?" All cylinders are sparking. Can these engines get out of time?
