"I've just purchased a 3GM30F and have what is probably a dumb question. Do they both turn in the same direction? I have bad feeling that I'm going to be replacing my screw. If so any suggestions as to what size I should replace the existing one with? The boat is a 34ft Steel Hulled Roberts design and weights 19,000lbs. Thanks in advance ..."

"The rotation on Volvo Penta and Yanmar are oposite.
Best to go to a prop shop with your HP, RPM,
LH rotation & reduction. The #gm series top RPM is 3600
You should run it at 3000 for best fuel consumption and torgue, diesels have to work so do not baby it"
