i want to add boyseen reeds to

i want to add boyseen reeds to my msh15 yamaha but i heard its a risk of blowing a cylinder and need to be serviced every so often? opinions?

"I have installed them in larger motors, a 1970 Johnson 85hp and a 1987 Johnson 110. In both cases, starting and idling both improved. As for HP gain, I think we got a little but most noticeable was the smoothing out of excelleration. I have never installed them in a smaller motor so I cannot comment on their performance in that area."
