"I purchased an older (1980) Bertram Motoryacht with a pair of 671ti's in her. They each have about 1200 hours on them and run well. What is the range as far as RPMs I should be running them at?
Also, what is the proper water temp. One runs at just under 180 and the other closer to 160.
I've checked the impeller and raw water line in the hotter one and everything seems perfect. The stariners are clean too. I was told to "cook" the heat exchanger to clean it out but have yet to do it. I wanted to find out if 180 is OK first."
