Johnson 50 ESL 74M waterpump sealant questions

I last changed waterpump five

I last changed waterpump five years ago and have the w/p kit to change it again. I don't have instructions and read a post that references using adhesive and a sealant on the pump. Could yall tell me of a substitute adhesive and sealant for the Johnson products and were/what needs to be sealed and glued?

I only use this old girl 5-6 times a year and she runs great. Thanks

"aviation formagasket,in can w/brush in lid...is what u need..it is a direct repl for OMC gasket sealing compound.u use this on gaskets surfaces,nothing but a lil grease goes on impeller,and inside housing."
