Okay so I have followed the advice of everyone on the forums and had one last question. Basically I am having trouble shifting into reverse because the engine starts choking out. I have been told by a few folks on here that it is definitely the Lower Shift Cable. I have a 2000 Bayliner with a merc 3.0L I/O and was wondering if an amateur boater could change it myself? Any tips or thoughts?
