"I have a 502 mercruiser with bravo one drive, the sea water pump is driven off the serpentine belt on front pulleys as is the circ pump. a guy who suppose to know about boat engines tells me there will also be an impeller in the out drive, can anyone confirm yes or no. thanks Ged"

The impeller in the drive is only on Alpha drives. I don't think Bravo drives have pumps in the drive.

"For sure there is no pump in the Bravo drive legs.

One big reason is that the vertical shaft in the leg does not rotate in neutral, as the Alpha does, so there is nothing rotating to drive a pump.

The Bravo packages use a belt driven pump, and may pull cooling water either through the drive leg (the leg has cooling water ports), or by way of a thru hull pickup and fitting.
