"I have a 2004 carb version of the yamaha 4 stroke and it seems to have a chug in it sometimes at idle, but mostly at about 1/4 throttle.. the dealer says it is normal for the carb version.. I personally think that is false who would ever make amotor that runs like that.. any help would be great"

"You will find dirt in the carbies, you need to clean them out reset sync and vacuum tune this should fix the problem, I have this where I am a lot due to stail fuel in carbies when the motor has been left for some time. Fuel injected models do not get this problem"
