Has no power when in water

"The motor will take full throttle out of the water, but has a miss when idle. When you put the boat in the water it won't go over 2000 rpms an putt's across the water, if you try to give it more gas then it bogs down and dies. Ran great last year and know runs bad. I am not sure of the year, but it is a 87 arrow glass boat with a yamaha 150 motor."

"Ok, I went through all 3 carbs and cleaned them spotless. Took the boat out and still the same problem. Doesn't have enough power to plain out, not even enough power to push itself on the trailer. Out of the water I can put in gear and give full throttle, in water only 2000 rpms. Every once in a while it will miss and shoot out a cloud of smoke."
 
didn't do all that since l

didn't do all that since last year i cleaned the carbs before taking out and never had this problem and last year I didn't do anything but clean the carbs and slap them back on.
