My 150 4 stroke lost about 30%

My 150 4 stroke lost about 30% power rather suddenly one day. It now barley gets on a plane and only gets up to about 4800 RPM. A mechanic gave it a 100 hr service and said he cleaned the injectors but it still has no power(won't go there again) Could it need new injectors?

I had a similar problem and did all of the obvious. It ended up being my injectors. If the dealer did not have the correct equipment to clean the injectors they will not work correctly. You do not need to replace them!Please see my post under Yamaha outboards titled "F150TXRC Running Poorly Cure?"
