"just bought used 94 zodiac with 50hp johnson runs fine i read where water pump [impellor] should be replaced every 2 seasons so we removed lower unit and didn,t see in manual where to disconnect shift rod at carb instead disconected it at lower unit replaced impellor and now having trouble with forward n reverse control on center console lining up seloc manual said to complet this with lever in forward we need advice on turn buckle setting on lower shift rod and also how to make sure what gear position the lower unit is in if we maybe changed gears in the process thanks Robert"
