"last year my alarm buzzer shorted out. The person I bought the boat from had a bunch of accesory leads bolted together and one shorted out against a ground and melted the insulation on the wire. I cleaned out the unnecesarry wiring (some leads weren't even connected to anything, another for a radio I removed) and ordered a new buzzer.
The buzzer I removed had 2 spades and a ground wire that protruded from the plastic sealer that covers the circuit board. The replacement does not have this ground. When I turn the key, I do not here the short beep to verify it's working......any suggestions?"
