Lower unit creeps downward on OMC Cobra

I just started having trouble

I just started having trouble with my lower unit creeping downward while on the trailer. I also cannot keep it trimmed at the same spot while cruising. Does anyone know if this is a problem with leaking cylinders or maybe the pump itself? I have already checked to make sure the bypass valve on the side of the pump is tight. Is there a checkvalve bad somewhere maybe?

in the pump valve body there are springs and balls most likely. you can try this though raise drive all the way open manual valve and let drive drop then check it only works sometimes depending on where the prob lies
