Does anyone know what the carb float height specs are for a 1988 Suzuki DT 140.

The float can be adjusted by holding the body of the carb upside down, so that the valve is closed, and adjusting the float so that the side of the float closest to the carb body is parallel to the body. If the end of the float away from the valve is slightly higher than the end nearest the valve it is okay. Adjust the float by bending the float arm.

While all manufacturers do specify a specific dimension for the float height, you would find that it wold yield the same results that I described above.

The float should not drop far enough to reach the bottom of the float chamber. This is a separate adjustment and is set by bending the tang on the end of the float arm.
