I am installing new risers on my 350 inboard. The directions I got with the risers said I should not use teflon products on any of the fittings. What should I coat the plugs with?

Don't know why they say that. I use it all the time on my engines.

"Joker, I use anti-seize compound on mine. It seems to work good. I also do not see why teflon would be bad!"

"Ah-hah! I'll bet the fittings are part of a temperature switch deal, and the teflon might screw up the electrical path to ground.
