I'm removing my propeller

I'm removing my propeller on a volvo penta 280 and is having some trouble. I've taken out the bolt inside the cone but can't get the propller out is there anything else i need to do. Can anyone help me out with some tips or information?

To remove the props on my Penta280s I used a block of wood to keep the prop and drive shaft from spinning freely. I removed the center bolt and then removed the cone. The cap cone has holes in it so you can put a screw driver in the side and use it to crank the cone counter clockwise. After the cone is off the props pull straight out. I had to use a pry bar because they had not been removed for about 10 years and all of the marine grade grease was gone. I hope this helps.

Ken is spot on: you also have to unscrew the cone. That bolt you removed is merely a locking device to keep the cone nut from backing off.
