"I have twin Penta280's co

"I have twin Penta280's connected to Ford 302HO engines. What is the easiest and most accurate way to determine which Penta280's I have? They do not have power trim so that eliminates the 280T, but all of the others look alike. Please advise. Thanks, Ken P."

You should have the 280

"Ken,
You should have the 280B with a gear ratio of 1.61:1. The 280D was used on 4 cylinder motors with a ratio of 2.15:1."
