I also have a 1984 235hp Evinr

I also have a 1984 235hp Evinrude and i need the tilt/trim cut off switch that mounts on the frame of the tilt/trim unit and i cannot find one. Help? Will the tilt/trim unit still work with this switch broken?

That is the sending unit for the trim gauge. The trim will work forever with it broken / thrown away.
