The superceded replacement for

The superceded replacement for the flywheel spline is no longer bolted to the flywheel but placed over the "rubber" covered flywheel bolts.Does any one know how to figure out how many of the spacers provided should be used? The instuctions are confusing and unclear. Thanks

"I've done it and I'm not a mechanic. It's based on two measurements. The instructions are a bit cryptic as I recall, but once you catch on it makes sense and works fine. But you do have to do the measuring for your specific engine. I think I read the instructions about 50 times before I got it."

"I have the same problem as Henri. We are asked to measure A minus B with a 3mm spacer in place. We are then asked to use spacers to the thickness A minus B but it is not clear whether this is as well as the 3mm spacer already there or whether the 3mm is to be included in the figure. I'm afraid the instructions are definitely ambiguous, however many times you read them! Can anyone enlighten me?"
