"Had the boat on the lake last weekend and ran fine to first fishing cove. Then when started to go to the next the boat slowed down and would hardly move. Engine runs fine, but prop is barely moving. I did not hit anything or hear any noise! Would the shear pin cut loose like that? Where is it? I can see a cotter pin in the prop, but that is not sheared. Also, don't know if it matters, but I had to add some gear oil the night before because the case was low. I only had 80W 90 gear oil around and put some of that in. Would that have hurt? I already bought the correct gear oil to put back in when I get it fixed. Let me know."
