"Quadra Jets are in the low 600 cfm flow range.
A marine 454 running at 4800 RPM needs about 630 cfm of air at 100 % induction efficiency, which of course will never happen.

What are you trying to do?

It either came with a Rottenchester, which is a variable flow carb, Up to 800cfms,....
Or,...
The Merc/ Weber Carter Clone,.... Probably the 750cfm model....."
