Last week I posted I message on the outboard discussion board, concerning the lack of decent free charts on the web, I got three replies, my thanks to nobeta , George Cinquegrana beta , and Tom Jefferson ..

The best site with good free charts I've seen out there can be reached at this address:

here's an example of what it can do for my area:

It's a really great site, you can just click to move east/west/north/south, zoom in/out.. nautical/ aeronautical/ topographical maps can be found by zip code or lat/long coordinates - there's detail of anything you really need - right click to save a map, or just hit the print button.. it even lets you add points of interest to the map - a great free tool.
