"Folks, Looking to find the model number, year for my motor. All I know is it is supposed to be Evinrude 70HP VRO. The model and serial number tag are not on the transom mount. The only serial number is the on the top rear of the motor on a round silver coloured plug C7238692.

That puts it in the 89 / 90 /

That puts it in the 89 / 90 / 91 range ---hoods and graphics were similar in those years.
