"Hi,
Last week I posted I message on the outboard discussion board, concerning the lack of decent free charts on the web, I got three replies, my thanks to nobeta , George Cinquegrana beta , and Tom Jefferson ..
The best site with good free charts I've seen out there can be reached at this address:
http://navigator2.maptech.com/homepage
here's an example of what it can do for my area:
http://navigator2.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm?type=0&lat=42.85312988844191&lon=-70.2868222376899&scale=1200000&zoom=50&icon=0&
It's a really great site, you can just click to move east/west/north/south, zoom in/out.. nautical/ aeronautical/ topographical maps can be found by zip code or lat/long coordinates - there's detail of anything you really need - right click to save a map, or just hit the print button.. it even lets you add points of interest to the map - a great free tool.

here's another one containing some really old, but still usefull charts sorted by state :
http://anchor.ncd.noaa.gov/

and If you're interested in the North/central Florida area these are really decent as well:
