Gimble bearing greasing

"I was all ready to re-assembl

"I was all ready to re-assemble my lower unit and thought it would be a good idea to grease my new gimble first.

So I put 5 pumps in & reached in and turned the bearing a quarter turn put 5 more pumps in and so on.

The last time I reached in I pulled out a part of the bearing, grease seal. The greased pushed it out. I pushed it back and set it.

Hope thats OK, Thought I would run it by you guys though.

I ALWAYS grease the bearing when the engine is idling...and don't over grease it."
