"Just got in the new engine and before we knew it
opportunity knocked and we found a Grady White
go for a couple of pennies on the dollar.

Well now we had engine swaps going on... All three
engines we had were Chevy 350's.

We figured the one in my boat was junk... Wouldn't turn
over. Well, we were wrong... We pressurized the
cylinder with air and the crank shaft turned over.

The started was hung up and a few smacks with a
hammer freed it up.

So now we got 2 boats and 3 engines. 1 Boat (my boat) is
going for sale by the end of the week with a
turnkey status... That's the one in my avitar.
A decent fishing boat. Many new parts...

The Grady is getting the BluePrint 355 CI engine
with a OMC Cobra outdrive and the existing
vortec 350 in the grady is going on craigslist.

All will have solid bills of health. I haven't figured out how
to load pictures. So, When we finallize all the details
I'll post a few links of our handy work."

"One other thing we had noted. Last year, I replaced the Manifolds and riser's.
After our first test drive we heard a racket coming
from the coupler area.
We found it!

The new exaust system was throwing water thru the
system unobstructed.
It was causing the check valves in the y-pipe to clang off the insides.

Another false alarm... The after market exhaust
for the 5.7 mercruiser is
much nicer than the merc originals.

The outlet on the riser is much better. Much
better flang...

Thanks for all of the advice along the way.
