1994 Evinrude 150 bearings assembly

"Ok, i'm putting the shortblock together on my 150 evinrude 60 degree. It doesn't appear to me that the mains are lining up together properly. Should the crank spin easily, or do the bearing have to be torqued between the block halves to line up properly? I've cleaned the mains where the pin lines up. I just don't want to assemble if there are any problems. Thanks. oh yeah, the bearings are new."

"Ok, I'm going to take it all apart and clean and reassemble ( I'm just test fitting, waiting on a part to actually move on from this point)."
