I have been looking at and am interested in buy a 1984 Larson with a Mercruiser 228 V8 i/o. Any feedback on this model boat or engine?

"24 year old boat- no one can give an opinion over the internet - could be cherry - could be trash... need to inspect floors, transom, holesaw a test hole in the floor... comression test engine, inspect manifolds....etc etc
Mercruiser is the BEST system to get into for a 24 year old boat tho' no question there - best prices and availablilty for parts"
