"I have a Chalmers repair manu

"I have a Chalmers repair manual that was purchased last year. The manual has an addendum that lists new specs for all engines. I have checked the resistances of all 3 coils and they are high 500-600 ohms for primary and 8.6K secondary. Not sure if I am mixing the primary and secondary numbers up as I don,t have the manual with me. I find it hard to believe that all 3 coils are bad. I am using a digital multimeter. I have followed the procedures in the manual but it is not specific on the type of test equipment to use. The exciter coil specs are within tolerance. I am experiencing low power and frequent miss. Do you know what the ignition coil resistances should be and am I using the proper meter?"

"Pick up a factory manual, use

"Pick up a factory manual, use an analog meter and they should be .179 - to .242 on the primary and 2.72 to 3.68 on the secondary."
