"I guess a search on the BRP site with correct Model number as reference will give the answer. Parts for old models gets modifies all the time to fit as many as possible. Only an up-dated dealer may give the exact answer, I'm not anymore. However I've no memory of seeing seals stapled to aluminum lower cowling s, only the upper made of grp."

Moreton, forget I even mentioned the word "stapled". When I received the seals in the mail bag, they were wrapped in paper. This paper was stapled so that the seals remained together - that's all. There ar eno seals that are stapled to anywhere on motor.

I will ring BRP USA soon from Australia and get the low down from the horse's mouth.

That seal is stapled to the lower cowling ( upper side ) has been for many years of production!!!!!You will have to remove the powerhead to see this.--------- It is absolutely the right part.

It is stapled on the dozen or more cowlings that i can look at! Maybe " down under " it is different?
