does the fixed jets ever go bad in these carbs our is it just a matter of adjustment is it possable to adjust them in tofar &mushroom the ends thanks

"Fixed jets in themselves do not go bad, nor have I ever heard of having the end of one mushroom.

However, they do become fouled, especially when the engine sits for some time. Cleaning them with solvent, then manually with a piece of wire restores them to their original condition.
