i suspect the model number is

i suspect the model number is not origional.i have a number off the block.where can i go to verify that this really is a 9.9hp?

the model nmbr matches a 9.9.b

the model nmbr matches a 9.9.but what i am saying is i am not sure if it really belongs to this engine.someone may have put it on this motor off of another.the number stamped on the block itself is:328820-2
