I just had the manifolds chang

I just had the manifolds changed buy A servise place and now it suked water into the cylenders they said my motor is old ? why does it suck water into it. it didnt before they worked on it. my motor now has A rod knoking but I still need to know why it is sucking water in the motor

How do you know it suck water into a cylinder?. If any water gets into a cyl at all, it will hydrauliclly lock up that cyl and bend the connecting rod or blow the head gasket, bend the valves. It takes very little water to fill the combustion chamber and do this. The motor will not run at all after this. I suggest that you re-post your question in the OMC portion of this site. Those guys there will know whats going on with it.
