hey i just bought this motor f

hey i just bought this motor for $100.00 it runs
just need some info on it.
model is v4al 15e
serial is 236 3615
is the gas to oil 25 to one? or what do you recomend? what year is it and is it a 75 hp?

"Niklas, that is a 1962/63 75 horse. And I think you have the oil mix pretty much correct - I believe 24:1 is what was actually called for.

If the motor runs, that was a well spent 100 bucks - you could have done alot worse..."

ok whats up with the wood float in the carb?
after 45 years its starting to decinagtate. do they make a plastic on for that motor
1963 johnson 75 hp?
