we talked last week about my l

we talked last week about my loss of spark
i ordered all parts stator module timer base
rectifier and all 4 coils
my question is that the stator and the rectifier
have 2 yellow wires and and neither of them have a tracer (white) does this matter or are they interchangable

In a single word - yes. The stator produces alternating current. The rectifier changes it to DC (as does your powerpack)....

"Yes, originally it would have had a yellow and a yellow/gray wire - mostly as not to confuse whomever was working on it. However, both wires produced the same output and reversing them would have zero effect.

A number of the stator mfg's got away from different coloured wires on the charging coils - Merc's are same way - both are just plain yellow..."
 
got it all together and runs g

got it all together and runs good exept the nylon retainer for the timer base to linkage rod broke does any body know where i can find this little part
