In the process in buying a fishing boat. Specs are 33' S/f which weights in at 18,000lbs give or take with older 671's naturals. BTW Marvin not sure what size injectors yet lol.... I guess the most common lets assume.I'm trying to calculate the fuel I need to make my trip back to my home port. Other than a few gallons of 40 oil and coolant to have on spare, is there anything else I should have? I have about 100 mile trip to make and would like to make sure I have plenty of fuel for the trip. Should I figure about 22gph for both engines? I figured cruise speed with be about 13-14knts. If all goes well it should be about an 8hr trip while burning 160-180 gals give or take. Before I leave next week for the trip I would like to make sure all my calculations are right.
