Then says the boat "weight is 5 tons, 330 horse power @ 5000 max"

Something is amiss with your numbers benoit. They don't seem to match up. Five tons = 10,000 lbs. U.S. or 5,000 kilos.

What is your drive ratio numer? What is the length and weight of your boat? Insert all the numbers into the chart to get your correct prop.
