"Has anyone had a play around or own software for tuning their EFI Mercruisers. Does anyone know where there is any available for "FREE"

. What are your opinions on using the software and do you think it is a good investment for troubleshooting and tuning??

"I have used MEFI Scan and Tun

"I have used MEFI Scan and Tune software (from OBDallinone dot com) and it works well for both monitoring and tuning MEFI contollers. Rinda's Diacom software works very well for monitoring, but does not have tuning capabilites. CDI electronics also has a new monitoring software called "MEDS", but from what I have seen it has limited features and is way overpriced.

There is no free software that can monitor or tune these controllers. As far as being a good investment or not, that depends on what you plan to do with it. If your in the marine service business, then you should have one of these software packages.
