I am in the market to add a jet unit to a 2007 Honda BF-150 long shaft that is currently set up to run a prop. Where can I purchase the needed parts to complete this and is it recommended to even do this vrs purchasing a complete new outboard with this lower unit installed?

"Yes, the horsepower loss is something we have to sacrifice as we will be running some very shallow rivers in the central Yukon Territory this summer. The boats are very light and at only 19ft, the 150 is more then enough to power them with a jet unit. Last year, we had to turn back after just 15 miles as there just was not enough water. I don't want to do that again this summer. Our local Honda dealer needed to order each piece separately and the cost was staggering that way.
