What size prop

i have a bf15a pushing a 12.5

i have a bf15a pushing a 12.5 achilles inflatable and typicaly motor included have an added wieght of 5-600lbs. i run the boat along the georgia coast and would like to know what size prop would give me the best all around performance?

"Brian, with smaller motors you are somewhat limited in what you can find with regards to prop pitch.

With your particular combo you could probably get away with a 12 pitch and have very good results - however, realistically, if you stick with a Honda prop you can probably only get a 10 1/2 pitch - maybe 11 in the aftermarket.

Personally, on that set-up I would look for a 4 blade 10 or 11 pitch and I think that would work well for you given your "added" weight load..."
