Intake manifold from AQ130 fit on AQ131

"Will a carburator/manifold assembly (dual carbs) from an AQ130 fit on a single-carb AQ131 ?

Meaning, will the manifold from the AQ130 bolt up properly to my AQ131?

I think the 4 cyl. blocks are similarly sized, but one engine is OHV and the other is OHC, so they may be wildly different.

Hoping to get 10-15 more hp, if there wont be any problems.

Any help appreciated."

Now, have a look to the intake manifold for the AQ130:

The pictures will give you an idea of the differences in size, space between intake ports, shape of ports, etc."

"Hi; Some one else might have tried it and know why it wouldn't work ,lets hope for answers. It seems to me that the duel carb. manifold of the 151 engine should fit the 131. They are readally available. [fyi] I recently switched my 151 to the weber carb. and am delighted with the difference. Hope 151 manifold will work for you. Lee!"

I'm glad to hear people reporting good results with Weber carbs. Maybe this will become the mod of choice for anyone trying to squeeze a few more HP out of the little 4 bangers?"
