"I was curious if there comes a time when it is purdent to change out head gaskets, or other gaskets for that matter?
My 1975 115 runs great and has never had a problem, but given its age, I get a little nervous when getting very far out.
What would be some reliabily concerns for an engine this age eventhough it has been well cared for?

"There's an old saying Mike..... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. However, if any portion of the engine makes you feel uneasy, replacing anything would need to be your judgement call."

Everything runs good, maybe too good. Just was looking for some insight from you folks that have been into these that may have experience as to how long some of these parts last. Things like gaskets and seal tend to harden or thin with age. Just want to be prudent but not to unnecessary extremes."
