"i have this motor and it came as a spare to my current boat. its 40hp smaller and i don't want to keep it in the garage any more I know nothing about this motor and really don't feel like doin a bunch of tests on it evewn though it would probably get me a better selling price

"Where are you located - I'm in NC. I have a 19' boat setting on trailer that I completely redid the interior a while back, but it needs a newer engine (or a major rebuild) so it has just been parked for two years. Figure out what you want for it if you are reasonably nearby, and we could then talk. I'll have to determine if another party would then be interested in the purchase of the boat. Else I'm going to auction the hull and trailer as-is."

I agree with Bondo, thats a nice clean looking engine, if the compressions stack up you should get a reasonable price for her.
