"Engine starts first time ever
"Engine starts first time every time, revs as expected in Neutral, water circulation fine. When in gear the motor runs at RPM levels slightly above idle. When throttle is applied the power comes on for a second or two but then drops off as if being starved of fuel. At low RPM levels all is again well. This only happens under load while at sea. Out of water with muffs no issues are noted when in gear (as far as RPMs). Fuel flow has been checked but I am loath to break the seals on the carb. As usual this little issue is being experienced during the Holiday period so any clues prior to booking in for a service would be appreciated."
