I have some friends in the middle of a sail trip from california to florida stuck due to a failed injector pump. I have no experience sailing, but am trying to help them find a replacement. I was hoping maybe someone on the board can point me in the right direction to find some spare parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That pump should be available from any Volvo Penta dealer. I don't know what their next port of call is but you could have one shipped to them.

Volvo dealers are listed on the volvo penta website and there are also many listed in the directory on our home page. Most would probably not have it in stock, but would have to order it.

You may need the serial number of the engine as well as the model number MD7A. The serial number should be on the nameplate on the engine."
