Need a little help on changing

Need a little help on changing the raw water pump on my outdrive. Is it directly under that top plate on the outdrive. Thanks Bob

It's not too diff

It's not too difficult if you are mechanical at all. With the help of a good service manual most people are able to change these without the need of professional help.

The part are available in kit form so it's easy to see what gets replaced once you get it apart. Pay specific attention to the shift shoe alignment, the water tube alignment and the placment of the O ring which seals the two halves of the oil passage. If these items are misaligned during reassembly, you will be taking it back apart.
