I thought I should put a quick note on here to advise people to avoid using Burlsedon Outboard Centre, (On the river Hamble, near Southampton). I have recently had my outboard serviced there. It was booked in four weeks ago for a full service and winterisation, I also asked for them to fit a new prop whilst they were at it. Anyway, having driven all the way down from Milton Keynes they had not booked me in. So, I had to drive all the way down a couple of days later to pick the boat up. The propeller (which cost £127), was placed on order and was supposed to be posted to me. I still haven't received it, and haven't had the refund I was promised. The manager is avoiding my phone calls and refuses to reply to my messages. Please avoid this place and hopefully this bandit will go out of business!!! Has anyone else had a similar experience, or any advice?"
