Pivot pins on 270 outdrive

"I am just going to change the d-shaft bellows, but find the pivot pins (2) stuck or seized. How do you remove them? I tried a little heat with no success. Are these just push in-out pins, or are they threaded? Thanks"

They are push in-out pins (Well mine were) and no they are not threaded. I removed mine by turning the drive and drifting each pin out with a punch and a suitable persuader bar (Hammer).

Good point though, why is Bob B wanting to remove the drive?"
