"Nope, but..............I would think it would be one of the best things you can do for the motor, with regards to reliability and running in good tune. I've converted a few engines over to the Pertronix system, most recently a pair of 427 Chris Craft V8 motors, and I now am recommending this to all my buddies who are still running ignition points. It was THE BEST thing I ever did for those 427s, short of using Mobil-1 15W50 synthetic oil (which I would not use in a Hercules, for fear the transmission may not grab properly).

Look for my Pertronix Ignition Post, which I'll post in a few minutes here on the forum, it will have photos for you, so you can see what you're getting. I'm quite sure you could get a system for a Hercules.
