" I have an old johnson i am trying to get to run.It is model#hd-25 and serial#771938.So far i have figured out it is a 2.5 hp built between 1946-1950.Any more details would be appreciated.also any sources for parts,etc.the spark plugs in it now are champion j8j,is that the correct ones?also what gas mix should i use.

"Jared.... Other than what you already know, I can't supply any accurate answers. However I do have the Parts Manual for that engine if you don't already have one. Make me a decent offer for it via e-mail if you would want it.
